Care. Wear. Share.

Team Long Island Girls’ Ice Hockey is again joining forces with Solving Kids’ Cancer for the month of September. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and is globally represented by the color gold. We have swapped out our shoelaces for gold laces and we are raising funds to show support for kids fighting cancer and for critical childhood cancer research.

Childhood cancer is the number one cause of death by disease in American children, resulting in the death of approximately 1800 kids each year. Please help support Solving Kids’ Cancer by making a donation to this important fundraiser and share this page with your family and friends. Every dollar raised will help Solving Kids’ Cancer find, fund, and advocate for breakthrough treatment options to cure children with the most fatal childhood cancers.

This cause is especially near and dear to our organization as cancer survivors and siblings of cancer survivors have worn the TLI crest, proudly representing Team Long Island Girls’ Hockey.

Please share your gold on social media and tag Solving Kids’ Cancer using the hashtags #LaceUpForKids #CareWearShare #GoGold #CCAM #TeamLongIsland #TLI #TeamLI

Because every kid deserves to grow up.
