Racing for Pediatric Cancer
On December 15, I took the start at the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in New Zealand with a plan to swim 1.2 miles, bike 56 miles and run a half marathon. I was hit during the bike portion and injured and could not finish that extraordinary race.
4 months later, I am blessed to have recovered enough to be on the start line of my 15th Boston Marathon which will also be my 50th marathon in a race.
In order to share this extraordinary experience and help others, I am racing to fund research on children cancer in memory and honor of Margo, the daughter of friends of ours.
Please help me support Solving Kids’ Cancer by making a donation!
Thank you so much for your generosity. Because every kid deserves to grow up.
