Lace Up with Liz
Greetings Family and Friends,
September is quickly approaching which means Childhood Cancer Awareness Month is right around the corner. I am joining with Solving Kids' Cancer and their campaign, "Lace Up for Kids" to raise crucial money and awareness for childhood cancer research. I am swapping out my shoelaces for gold laces which represent the color for childhood cancer awareness. I am taking part in this campaign in memory of my friend, Tina's beautiful son, Landen. Landen courageously fought glioblastoma multiforme, a type of brain cancer for 20 months before passing away at the age of 9. Through Tina and her sweet boy, I quickly learned how underfunded research is for childhood cancers. Annually, childhood cancer research receives about 4% of the cancer research funding...4%!!!! Please, help me help Solving Kids' Cancer by donating any amount to my fundraising page. Also, anyone who donates to my page will receive their own pair of gold shoelaces from Solving Kids' Cancer.
Thank you,
Liz Moran
